About Me
Hello! my name is Courtney Collibee. I am an Oil Painter, Photographer and Creative Director in Newport, Rhode Island. My work spans multiple mediums, but I'm particularly known for my realistic landscapes and emotive portraiture. My landscapes, often inspired by the maritime beauty around me, capture the power and serenity of the sea, while my portraits focus on the raw emotions and stories that make us human. I’m proud to showcase my work in the Mariner Gallery, where I can connect with others through the storytelling inherent in each piece.
I graduated from Salve Regina University with a degree in Fine Arts, specializing in Illustration. This foundation in art and storytelling has shaped my entire approach to creativity. Whether I’m painting, photographing, or designing, I always strive to capture the deeper narrative, that essential element of human experience that resonates with people.
As the creative director at Mariner Gallery, I focus on creating compelling marketing materials, including magazines, brochures, pamphlets, and websites. My role goes beyond just designing; I build strong client relationships, manage social media strategies, and help brands visually communicate their unique stories. Currently, I also lead marketing at Holebrook Sweden USA, where I handle all brand photography, content creation, and digital strategy, ensuring that the company’s visual presence aligns with its values and resonates with its audience.
